The Collection Museum's ever popular Author Talks series are back – in a socially distanced way!
Starting in June for 'Independent Bookshop Week', visitors can hear from bestselling authors – Sharon Connolley and Nathen Amin.
On Sat 19th June, Sharon Bennett Connolly will be introducing her new book: Defenders of the Norman Crown - Rise and Fall of the Warenne Earls of Surrey.
The story tells the fascinating story of the Warenne dynasty, of the successes and failures of one of the most powerful families in England, from its origins in Normandy, through the Conquest, Magna Carta, the wars and marriages that led to its ultimate demise in the reign of Edward III.

On Saturday 26 June – Bestselling author Nathen Amin will be talking about his new book: Henry VII and the Tudor Pretenders: Simnel, Warbeck, and Warwick.
For the first time in one compelling and comprehensive account, Nathen looks at the myriad of shadowy conspiracies and murky plots which sought to depose the Tudor usurper early in his reign, with particular emphasis on the three pretenders whose causes were fervently advanced by Yorkist dissidents ‒ Lambert Simnel, Perkin Warbeck, and Edward, Earl of Warwick.
