The Collection Museum is teaming up with the Natural History Museum, and is looking for volunteers to help out!

The world-renowned exhibition, Wildlife Photographer of the Year, on loan from the Natural History Museum, will open at The Collection Museum this summer, from Sat 3 July till Sun 19 September.

The Wildlife Photographer of the Year is the most prestigious photography event of its kind and will embark on an international tour, allowing the winning photographs to be seen by over a million people.

Paul Mason, visitor experience manager at the Collection Museum, explains: "Volunteers really are the life-blood of the museum and this is a great opportunity to work with us and the National History Museum.

"Our volunteers get involved in everything from exhibitions, events, schools workshops and the visitor experience, helping visitors have an amazing time and making sure the museum is welcoming and safe.

"So whether you are just starting out, looking to gain experience in arts and museums or looking to try something new – you may very well be able to help us."

Apply online www.thecollectionmuseum.com/getting-involved.

Deadline for initial applications is on Friday 2nd July at 5pm, but we will be recruiting until the end of July.
