Two mini-roundabouts on North Street in Bourne will be rebuilt early next month.
The works will be carried out overnight on Wednesday 1 and Thursday 2 December.
As part of the improvements, North Street in Bourne will be closed from 8pm to 6am between the junctions with St Gilbert's Road and Christopher's Lane.
The diversion route for the night-time closures will be via A15 / A52/ A152 / A16 / A151, and vice versa.
Karen Cassar, assistant director for highways, said:
"These two mini-roundabouts on North Street are nearing the end of their serviceable lives, so we're taking the opportunity to completely rebuild them over two evenings.
"This will involve removing the current carriageway then replacing and relining it.
"We'll be doing everything we can to keep disruption to a minimum during the works and appreciate everyone's patience."
