Carriageway surfacing and patching works will take place during w/c 15th November.
The works, which will start on Monday 15 November, will be underway for up to six days (subject to suitable weather).
During that time, a daytime road closure will be in place from 7:30am to 5pm along Somerton Gate Lane. The diversion route will be via Brant Road / Station Road / Hill Top, and vice versa.
Richard Fenwick, County Highways Manager, said: “These works were originally scheduled to start at the end of the month, on the 29th.
"However, we’ve taken the decision to move this project ahead to accommodate restrictions for other essential works elsewhere in the county.
“We’ll be doing everything we can to keep disruption to a minimum during the works, including maintaining access for residents throughout the works when it’s safe to do so.
“I want to thank everyone in advance for their patience while these essential works are carried out.”
