Warmer weather often brings more people to our Household Waste Recycling Centres; there may be queues at some sites.
Whether it’s a spot of gardening, clearing out the garage, or just spring cleaning around the house – warmer weather often sees more people bringing their waste and recycling to Lincolnshire’s tips.
This increased number of visitors can sometimes mean queues at our sites, especially in Lincoln, Boston and Grantham.
Already on Friday (25 March), long queues were seen at Lincoln’s Household Waste Recycling Centre.
All sites are open five days a week from Friday to Tuesday. If your visit can wait, weekdays and early mornings are usually our quieter times.
Also this weekend, Network Rail will be inspecting the level-crossing on Great Northern Terrace in Lincoln overnight between Saturday 26 Marcha and Sunday 27 March and the road will be closed until 8.30am.
As such, Lincoln Household Waste Recycling Centre will not be able to open until 9am on Sunday 27 March, instead of 8am.
