Bra banks

Lincolnshire Libraries have partnered with Against Breast Cancer to offer a convenient and meaningful way to recycle your unwanted bras. Our Bra Banks are now available at participating library locations across the county.

By donating your gently worn bras, you’re helping in two powerful ways:

  • Support vital breast cancer research – Proceeds from bra recycling help fund research into secondary spread, the main cause of breast cancer-related deaths.
  • Promote reuse - The donated bras are collected and sent for textile recovery, giving them a new lease of life and raising money for Against Breast Cancer, which they use to fund vital research.

You can donate:

  • gently worn bras of all sizes and styles
  • washed and in good condition (please avoid donating damaged or heavily worn items).
