Roadworks

The map below shows all current and planned roadworks and other activity on the highway (such as events) in Lincolnshire. Roadworks may be undertaken by the County Council carrying out highway maintenance and improvements, or by external organisations such as utility companies, who need access to maintain and install vital infrastructure in the highway. Where roadworks are carried out by a third party, they are responsible for the management of their work.

We have a duty to co-ordinate all roadworks on its network to ensure that disruption to road users is kept to a minimum, while providing a safe environment road users and those undertaking the work.

Our inspectors carry out around 20,000 inspections each year but we can’t be everywhere, so we rely on the public to let us know if they spot a problem at roadworks.

Lincolnshire street works charter
