Are you concerned about image sharing? 17% of over 15's admitted to sharing a naked image of themselves. There are many reasons why a young person may share a naked image including;
- exploring their sexuality
- being asked, pressured or coerced
- social acceptance or joining in because they think everyone is doing it
Children are often embarrassed or ashamed to speak about image sharing. But often express wanting adults to talk to them in an open, honest and non-judgmental way about it.
