Road closures and parking restrictions

Stage 2

We are delighted to welcome the Lloyds Tour of Britain to Lincolnshire in September 2026. The event will showcase our county to audiences across the UK and around the world.

To help Stages 1 and 2 of the race run safely on 2 September 2026 and 3 September 2026, temporary road closures and parking restrictions will be in place.

Information about affected roads, closure times and travel advice for Stage 2 is available below.

Boston road closures

4am to 1pm

  • Bank Street
  • Market Place
  • Fish Hill
  • South Street/South Square

8.30am to 11am

  • High Street (from Fydell St to Town Bridge)
  • Town Bridge (from High St to Fish Hill)

Boston car park closures

  • South Square Car Park closed from 8pm on 2nd September until 1pm on 3rd September
  • Bargate car park closed from 4am to 1pm on 3rd September
  • Cattle Market car park closed from 8am to 1pm on 3rd September

Skegness road closures

5am to 6.30pm

  • North Parade (between Scarborough Avenue and Sea View Road)

12pm to 4pm

  • Rutland Road
  • Lumley Road

12pm to 6.30pm

  • Grand Parade (between Lumley Road and Scarborough Avenue)

Skegness car park closures (in place from 8pm on 2nd September until 6.30pm on 3rd September)

  • North End Car Park
  • Skegness Beach Car Park
  • Pierside Car Park

Skegness parking restrictions

5am to 4pm

  • Scarbrough Avenue between Rutland Rd and North Parade

8pm on 2nd September until 6.30pm on 3rd September

  • Castleton Boulevard between Park Avenue and North Parade Please note that all other closure locations will be rolling as per our published race timings.
