To enable a DBS to be processed, please upload the relevant documentation: 

  • we require a total of three documents
  • at least one document must confirm the applicant’s current address
  • at least one document must confirm the applicant’s date of birth

Please note that if a route 2 application is required then an additional fee of £10 will be required which we will notify you of. Route 2 is an alternative identity‑verification pathway within the DBS process. It is only used when an applicant cannot meet the Route 1 document requirements, which normally include a passport, driving licence, or other primary ID.

The documents must be checked by;

  • the Employing Operator or Volunteer Scheme Organiser
  • or, if the Operator is a relative of the applicant or the applicant themself is an Approved Operator, a responsible person of standing who you might use for a passport application. They will need to complete the DBS Application Declaration form. You can request the form by emailing TSG_DBS@lincolnshire.gov.uk.
