Summer art competition
We are running the summer art competition to not only create some fun for our members but to also spread awareness of the group and encourage new young people to join us.
We want to make sure children in care and care leavers receive the best possible support.
Who can enter?
This art competition is for children in care or care leavers aged between 11-25.
What are the prizes?
- First prize - £40 gift card
- Second prize - £20 gift card
- Third prize - £10 gift card
All entrants will receive a certificate.
What is the theme?
'My voice, my story'.
What kind of art can I enter?
You can draw, paint, collage or create a digital art piece.
You can use any type of materials you want - just be creative.
I don't have any art supplies
Contact one of your allocated workers or email participation@lincolnshire.gov.uk and we will try to help you with some supplies.
How do I submit my artwork?
Send a a photo or copy of digital art to participation@lincolnshire.gov.uk.
How will a winner be decided?
By entering the competition, you agree to your art being shared with others.
We will send a link out to social workers, leaving care workers, IRO's and virtual schools to vote on the best creations.
Voting will be open for three days.
Closing date
Closing date for entries is Monday 25 August.
The top three creations will be named the winners, and the gift cards will be given out at the next V4C meeting on 27 August at Boston Youth Centre (11.30am - 2.30pm).
