What happens next?

You should get the information you requested within 20 working days. We will tell you if we need more time.

Costs

Most requests are free but, in some circumstances, charges may apply. We will tell you how much any charges will be and explain what they are for.

If your request is turned down

If we turn down your request, we will tell you why we cannot give you some or all of the information.

We might ask you to be more specific so we can provide just the information you need.

We will refuse your request if it will cost more than £450 to find and extract the information.

Reviews and complaints

If you believe we have not provided the information requested, you may ask for a review of the decision. We will tell you how to do this in our response.

If you are still not satisfied, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
