Breast start from pregnancy and breastfeeding

Come and join us in a relaxed, friendly environment, chat and meet other breastfeeding mums and get some support and advice. A member of the health visiting team supports the group.

Pop in and play 0 to 5 years

An opportunity for babies and children to pop in with their parents and carers to use the resources in the early years room in the centre. All we ask is that families clean and tidy the resources after use and the space is a safe and happy environment for all to enjoy.

OWL babies under 1s 

OWL babies - outdoor while learning. Sessions will include discussions around the benefits of being outside, sensory play activities, exploring nature, singing and sharing books.

Tuesdays

Early talkers 0 to 5 years

This session will support children to become confident communicators through songs, rhymes, exploring and sharing books.

Top tips for babies 3 to 4 months on 23 April and 18 June

This session shares top tips from introducing solids, oral health, accident prevention and age-appropriate development. It’s a great opportunity to meet new families and find out what local services are available for your family.

Baby massage starts 30 April

This five-week course offers a chance for you and your baby to spend precious time bonding through massage whilst meeting other parents with babies to form friendships.To book onto this session, email Crowland Childrens centre.

A sensory play session encouraging children to explore a range of messy play activities such as water, sand, crafts, gloop and play dough.

Borrow bags

Drop into any children’s centre to access the range of borrow bags. These include sensory bags, stories bags, treasure baskets and much more.


Free online sessions for parents and carer

Connect with other parents and carers via Zoom and learn about topics relevant to families and children aged 0 to 5. Share ideas in how to support children’s early education and each other. Visit the Family Corner website.

Solihull approach - free online courses for parents, grandparents, teens and carers

The courses provide support through all stages of bringing up children, from pregnancy and birth to caring for toddlers up to teenagers. They include specific courses for teenagers, and for parents and carers of children with additional needs. Parents’ courses can be accessed via the Solihull approach website.
