The session features a ‘talk time’ to show how the little things parents do make a big difference to their children’s learning, together with a range of fun play activities, songs and stories.

Come and join us in a relaxed, friendly environment, chat and meet other breastfeeding mums and get some support and advice. A member of the health visiting team supports the group.

Multinational stay and play 0 to 5 years 

Fun activities for children and families to explore together, singing and sharing books to support children’s confidence, independence and language development. Supported by PAB Languages Limited (PAB).

Children will be encouraged to be active in a range of activities such as running, jumping, balancing, climbing and throwing to develop their coordination.

Solihull antenatal education programme, group for parents - starts 10 April to 15 May for six weeks

The Solihull Antenatal Education Programme is intended for parents to be, and their birthing partner. This is a 6-week programme designed to provide you with information around parent and baby relationships, labour and birth, breast feeding and caring for you baby. If you are 28 weeks pregnant or over and would like to attend this funded programme, please register using the link Antenatal Education Form

A programme to support families and their new babies in a relaxed and friendly environment.  Meet other new parents, take part in activities such as tummy time, singing and sharing books. An ideal session for your first visit into a children’s centre.

An opportunity for babies and children to pop in with their parents and carers to use the resources in the early years room in the centre. All we ask is that families clean and tidy the resources after use and the space is a safe and happy environment for all to enjoy.

Speech and language drop in

Drop-in for parents and carers to chat with a speech and language assistant where they may have concerns about their child’s speech and language development.

This session will support children to become confident communicators through songs, rhymes, exploring and sharing books.

Drop into any children’s centre to access the range of borrow bags.  These include sensory bags, stories bags, treasure baskets and much more.


Free online sessions for parents and carer

Connect with other parents and carers via Zoom and learn about topics relevant to families and children aged 0 to 5. Share ideas in how to support children’s early education and each other. Visit the Family Corner website.

Solihull approach - free online courses for parents, grandparents, teens and carers

The courses provide support through all stages of bringing up children, from pregnancy and birth to caring for toddlers up to teenagers. They include specific courses for teenagers, and for parents and carers of children with additional needs. Parents’ courses can be accessed via the Solihull approach website.


Incredible years baby 0 to 12 months

This parenting programme that covers the child’s first 12 months of life. It is an evidence-based programme which focuses on strengthening parenting skills and building a positive relationship with your baby. 

It is recommended to gain the most from the course content that you sign up when your child is aged between 0 and 6 months old.

Incredible years toddler 1 to 3 years

This 13-week parenting programme an evidence-based programme which focuses on strengthening parenting skills and building a positive relationship with your child. For parents with children aged 1 to 3 years children. Please note that children are unable to attend, this is a parent only course.
