Babies are born ready to communicate. This session will support these developing skills through songs and rhymes.

Speech and language drop in

Drop-in for parents and carers to chat with a speech and language assistant where they may have concerns about their child’s speech and language development.

Tuesdays

Multinational stay and play 0 to 5 years 

Fun activities for children and families to explore together, singing and sharing books to support children’s confidence, independence and language development. Supported by PAB Languages Limited (PAB).

Early talkers 0 to 5 years at Pinchbeck Library 

This session will support children to become confident communicators through songs, rhymes, exploring and sharing books.

Top tips for babies 3 to 4 months on 14 May and 16 July 

This session shares top tips from introducing solids, oral health, accident prevention and age-appropriate development. It’s a great opportunity to meet new families and find out what local services are available for your family.

The early days 

A programme to support families and their new babies in a relaxed and friendly environment.  Adult only - non mobile babies welcome. Meet other new parents, take part in activities such as tummy time, singing and sharing books. An ideal session for your first visit into a children’s centre.

Adult learning - Essential English starts 17 April term time only

Breast start from pregnancy and breastfeeding

Come and join us in a relaxed, friendly environment, chat and meet other breastfeeding mums and get some support and advice. A member of the health visiting team supports the group.

Solihull antenatal education programme, group for parents - starts 10 April to 15 May for six weeks and 5 June to 10 July for six weeks

The Solihull Antenatal Parenting Group is intended for all parents to be and their birthing partner. 6 week programme designed to provide you with information around parent and baby relationships, labour and birth, breast feeding and caring for your baby. If you are 28 weeks pregnant or over and would like to attend this funded programme, please register using the link Antenatal Education Form

Free online sessions for parents and carer

Solihull approach - free online courses for parents, grandparents, teens and carers

The courses provide support through all stages of bringing up children, from pregnancy and birth to caring for toddlers up to teenagers. They include specific courses for teenagers, and for parents and carers of children with additional needs. Parents’ courses can be accessed via the Solihull approach website.


Incredible years baby 0 to 12 months

This parenting programme that covers the child’s first 12 months of life. It is an evidence-based programme which focuses on strengthening parenting skills and building a positive relationship with your baby. 

It is recommended to gain the most from the course content that you sign up when your child is aged between 0 and 6 months old.

This course will be up to 12 weeks, depending on the needs of the group. To book onto this course email spaldingcc@lincolnshire.gov.uk.


Incredible years toddler 1 to 3 years

This 13-week parenting programme an evidence-based programme which focuses on strengthening parenting skills and building a positive relationship with your child.
