For children with disabilities with complex health needs in their early years up until they transition into statutory full time education.

Sessions will offer activities to encourage babies to grow and learn through treasure baskets, messy play, singing and sharing stories.

Little Explorers 0 to 5 years

A sensory and messy play session providing lots of fun-filled opportunities for Children to explore using their senses, giving them opportunity to learn and develop.

Speech and Language drop in

Drop-in for parents and carers to chat with a speech and language assistant where they may have concerns about their child’s speech and language development.

Pop in and Play 0 to 5 years - Family soft play

An opportunity for babies and children to pop in with their parents and carers to use the resources in the early years room in the centre. All we ask is that families clean and tidy the resources after use and the space is a safe and happy environment for all to enjoy.

Early Voices under 1s - at Ermine Library, LN2 2BT

Babies are born ready to communicate. This session will support these developing skills through songs and rhymes.

SEND Drop In Session

A safe space for parents and carers to discuss concerns, ask questions and explore available support with a trained children and family services professional.

Early Talkers 0 to 5 years - at Ermine Library, LN2 2BT

This session will support children to become confident communicators through songs, rhymes, exploring and sharing books.

Baby Massage - Starts 14 January

First Bites and Baby life 3 to 6 months - 26 January only

This session shares top tips from introducing solids, oral health, accident prevention and age-appropriate development. It’s a great opportunity to meet new families and find out what local services are available for your family. This 13-week parenting programme is an evidence-based programme which focuses on strengthening parenting skills and building a positive relationship with your child. Drop into any children’s centre to access the range of borrow bags. These include sensory bags, stories bags, treasure baskets and much more.

Free online sessions for parents and carer
