Drop-in for parents and carers to chat with a speech and language assistant where they may have concerns about their child’s speech and language development.

Tuesdays

Multinational Stay and Play 0 to 5 years

Fun activities for children and families to explore together, singing and sharing books to support children’s confidence, independence and language development. Supported by PAB Languages Limited (PAB).

Learning Together Babies under 1s - Starts 6 January - held at Pinchbeck Library, 48 Knights street, Pinchbeck, PE11 3RU.

The session features a ‘Talk Time’ to show how the little things parents do make a big difference to their children’s learning, together with a range of fun play activities, songs, and stories. To book onto this session, email spaldingCC@lincolnshire.gov.uk.

Antenatal Education Programme, group for parents - starting 6 January for six weeks - held at Spalding Children's Centre

Family Hubs - Universal Antenatal programme to support emotional health and wellbeing in the delivery of Solihull Approach groups for parents, with a focus on relationships and nurturing connected, sensitive and responsive interactions. If you are 28 weeks pregnant or over and would like to attend this funded programme, please register using the link below:

Breast start from pregnancy and breastfeeding

Come and join us in a relaxed, friendly environment, chat and meet other breastfeeding mums and get some support and advice. A member of the health visiting team supports the group.

Incredible Years Baby (0 to 12 months) - starts 7 January

This parenting programme covers the child’s first 12 months of life. It is an evidence-based programme which focuses on strengthening parenting skills and building a positive relationship with your baby. 
It is recommended to gain the most from the course content that you sign up when your child is aged between 0-6 months old. To book onto this session, email spaldingCC@lincolnshire.gov.uk.

Sessions will offer activities to encourage babies to grow and learn through treasure baskets, messy play, singing and sharing stories.

Time to Play

Delivered by Early Years Alliance, Time to Play, provides opportunities for children with disabilities or complex medical needs (in their early years up until they transition into statutory full-time education) to learn and explore through play, whilst providing a short break for their parents/carers.

Portage Stepping Stones

Drop into any children’s centre to access the range of borrow bags.  These include sensory bags, stories bags, treasure baskets and much more.


Free online sessions for parents and carer
