Incredible Years Baby (0 to 12 months) - starts 6 May for 12 weeks

This parenting programme covers the child’s first 12 months of life. It is an evidence-based programme which focuses on strengthening parenting skills and building a positive relationship with your baby. 
It is recommended to gain the most from the course content that you sign up when your child is aged between 0 to 6 months old. This course will be up to 10 weeks, depending on the needs of the group.  To book onto this course email NorfolkLodgeCC@lincolnshire.gov.uk.

The Early Days 

A programme to support families and their new babies in a relaxed and friendly environment.  Meet other new parents, take part in activities such as tummy time, singing and sharing books. An ideal session for your first visit into a children’s centre.

Solihull Antenatal Education Programme, group for parents - starts 3 June until 8 July

Family Hubs - Universal Antenatal programme to support emotional health and wellbeing in the delivery of Solihull Approach groups for parents, with a focus on relationships and nurturing connected, sensitive and responsive interactions. An opportunity for babies and children to pop in with their parents and carers to use the resources in the early years room in the centre. All we ask is that families clean and tidy the resources after use and the space is a safe and happy environment for all to enjoy.

Drop-in for parents and carers to chat with a speech and language assistant where they may have concerns about their child’s speech and language development. Drop in for parents 0 to 5 years. Open to all.

Portage Drop-in Group - starts 25 April alternate weeks

Portage Drop-In Group is a stay and play open access opportunity for Portage families only, who are currently receiving or have previously received support through the Early Learning and Portage Support Service. The group is run by Portage Practitioners, and families can access the group up until the term before their child starts school. The Drop-In Group provides an opportunity for families with SEND children to meet and share experiences and also receive information and signposting to other  services where appropriate.

Drop into any children’s centre to access the range of borrow bags.  These include sensory bags, stories bags, treasure baskets and much more.


Free online sessions for parents and carer

The courses provide support through all stages of bringing up children, from pregnancy and birth to caring for toddlers up to teenagers. They include specific courses for teenagers, and for parents and carers of children with additional needs. Parents’ courses can be accessed via the Solihull approach website.
