This session will support children to become confident communicators through songs, rhymes, exploring and sharing books.

A safe space for parents and carers to discuss concerns, ask questions and explore available support with a trained children and family services professional.

Moving On Up! 0 to 5 years

This session offers a range of fun activities to support children developing their independence and social skills through play.

Cost: free

Tuesdays

Time to Play

Delivered by Early Years Alliance, Time to Play, provides opportunities for children with disabilities or complex medical needs (in their early years up until they transition into statutory full-time education) to learn and explore through play, whilst providing a short break for their parents/carers. (Please note that this session was previously advertised as Kids Creche)

Sessions will offer activities to encourage babies to grow and learn through treasure baskets, messy play, singing and sharing stories.

Pop in and Play under 1s - 2 June only

An opportunity for babies and children to pop in with their parents and carers to use the resources in the early years room in the centre. All we ask is that families clean and tidy the resources after use and the space is a safe and happy environment for all to enjoy.

Wednesdays

Let’s Get Active 0 to 5 years

Children will be encouraged to be active in a range of activities such as running, jumping, balancing, climbing and throwing to develop their coordination and physical skills.

OWL Babies under 1s 

Babies explore their environment through their senses which are vital for early brain development. These sessions will include discussions around baby’s brain development, the benefits of being outside, sensory play activities, singing and sharing books.

Thursdays

Lincolnshire Breastfeeding Group

Come and join us in a relaxed, friendly environment, chat and meet other breastfeeding mums and get some support and advice. A member of the health visiting team supports the group.

Speech and Language drop in

Drop-in for parents and carers to chat with a speech and language assistant where they may have concerns about their child’s speech and language development.

Little Explorers Plus

A drop-in stay and play session for families of children with disabilities or complex medical needs, that will provide play and learning opportunities that meets the needs of all children. Baby Massage - starts 26 June 

This five week course offers a chance for you and your baby to spend precious time bonding through massage whilst meeting other parents with babies to form friendships.

Free online sessions for parents and carer

Solihull approach - free online courses for parents, grandparents, teens and carers

The courses provide support through all stages of bringing up children, from pregnancy and birth to caring for toddlers up to teenagers. They include specific courses for teenagers, and for parents and carers of children with additional needs. Parents’ courses can be accessed via the Solihull approach website.
