This 13 week parenting programme an evidence-based programme which focuses on strengthening parenting skills and building a positive relationship with your child. For Parents with children aged 1 to 3 years children. Please note that children are unable to attend, this is a parent only course.

Early Explorers under 1s - starting 7 September

A sensory and messy play session providing lots of fun-filled opportunities for babies to explore using their senses, giving them opportunities to learn, supporting their early development.

Learning Together Toddlers 1 to 5 years - starting 8 September

The session features a ‘Talk Time’ to show how the little things parents do make a big difference to their children’s learning, together with a range of fun play activities, songs, and stories.

Baby Massage - starting 8 September

This five week course offers a chance for you and your baby to spend precious time bonding through massage whilst meeting other parents with babies to form friendships. Please note baby must have had their six to eight week NIPE health check prior to starting Baby Massage.

Friendly advice and support for parents and carers of children with SEND. Come along to talk about your child’s development, ask questions and find out about available support

Come and join us in a relaxed, friendly environment, chat and meet other breastfeeding mums and get some support and advice. A member of the health visiting team supports the group.

Time to Play

Delivered by Early Years Alliance, Time to Play, provides opportunities for children with disabilities or complex medical needs (in their early years up until they transition into statutory full-time education) to learn and explore through play, whilst providing a short break for their parents and carers.

Speech and Language drop in

Drop-in for parents and carers to chat with a speech and language assistant where they may have concerns about their child’s speech and language development.

An opportunity for babies and children to pop in with their parents and carers to use the resources in the early years room in the centre. All we ask is that families clean and tidy the resources after use and the space is a safe and happy environment for all to enjoy.

Drop into any children’s centre to access the range of borrow bags. These include sensory bags, stories bags, treasure baskets and much more.


Free online sessions for parents and carer

Connect with other parents and carers via Zoom and learn about topics relevant to families and children aged 0 to 5. Share ideas in how to support children’s early education and each other. Visit the Family Corner website.

Solihull approach - free online courses for parents, grandparents, teens and carers

The courses provide support through all stages of bringing up children, from pregnancy and birth to caring for toddlers up to teenagers. They include specific courses for teenagers, and for parents and carers of children with additional needs. Parents’ courses can be accessed via the Solihull approach website.


Incredible years baby 0 to 12 months

This parenting programme that covers the child’s first 12 months of life. It is an evidence-based programme which focuses on strengthening parenting skills and building a positive relationship with your baby. 

It is recommended to gain the most from the course content that you sign up when your child is aged between 0 and 6 months old.
