This session offers a range of fun activities for children and families to explore together, singing and sharing books to support children’s confidence, independence and development.

Baby Massage - starts 8 September

This five-week course offers a chance for you and your baby to spend precious time bonding through massage whilst meeting other parents with babies to form friendships.

Come and join us in a relaxed, friendly environment, chat and meet other breastfeeding mums and get some support and advice. A member of the health visiting team supports the group.

OWL Babies under 1s - no session 9 September

Babies explore their environment through their senses which are vital for early brain development. These sessions will include discussions around baby’s brain development, the benefits of being outside, sensory play activities, singing and sharing books.

Portage Stepping Stones

An invitation only targeted small group, for SEN pre school children and their parents and carers, led by Portage Practitioners and supported by Early Years and Family Educators.  Weekly sessions run over eight weeks focussing on specific areas of development .

Time to Play 0 to 5 years

Delivered by Early Years Alliance, Time to Play, provides opportunities for children with disabilities or complex medical needs (in their early years up until they transition into statutory full-time education) to learn and explore through play, whilst providing a short break for their parents/carers.

Free online sessions for parents and carer

Solihull approach - free online courses for parents, grandparents, teens and carers

The courses provide support through all stages of bringing up children, from pregnancy and birth to caring for toddlers up to teenagers. They include specific courses for teenagers, and for parents and carers of children with additional needs. Parents’ courses can be accessed via the Solihull approach website.

Incredible years baby 0 to 12 months

This parenting programme that covers the child’s first 12 months of life. It is an evidence-based programme which focuses on strengthening parenting skills and building a positive relationship with your baby. 

It is recommended to gain the most from the course content that you sign up when your child is aged between 0 and 6 months old.

This course will be up to 12 weeks, depending on the needs of the group. To book onto this course email spaldingcc@lincolnshire.gov.uk.

Incredible years toddler 1 to 3 years

This 13-week parenting programme an evidence-based programme which focuses on strengthening parenting skills and building a positive relationship with your child. For parents with children aged 1 to 3 years children. Please note that children are unable to attend, this is a parent only course. To book onto this course email spaldingcc@lincolnshire.gov.uk.
