An opportunity for babies and children to pop in with their parents and carers to use the resources in the early years room in the centre. All we ask is that families clean and tidy the resources after use and the space is a safe and happy environment for all to enjoy.

Incredible Years Toddler 1 to 3 years - started 17 September at Wyndham Park Nursery School
This 13 week parenting programme an evidence-based programme which focuses on strengthening parenting skills and building a positive relationship with your child. For Parents with children aged 1 to 3 years children. Please note that children are unable to attend, this is a parent only course.

Portage Stepping Stones - invitation only
An invitation only targeted small group, for SEN pre school children and their parents and carers, led by Portage Practitioners and supported by Early Years and Family Educators. Weekly sessions run over eight weeks focussing on specific areas of development.

Breast Start from Pregnancy and Breastfeeding - 13 and 27 November, 11 December
Come and join us in a relaxed, friendly environment, chat and meet other breastfeeding mums and get some support and advice. A member of the health visiting team supports the group.
This session alternates between Swingbridge Childrens Centre & Belton Lane Childrens Centre, please check dates before attending.

Portage Drop-in Group - 14 and 28 November, 12 December
Portage Drop-In Group is a stay and play open access opportunity for Portage families only, who are currently receiving or have previously received support through the Early Learning and Portage Support Service. The group is run by Portage Practitioners, and families can access the group up until the term before their child starts school. The Drop-In Group provides an opportunity for families with SEND children to meet and share experiences and also receive information and signposting to other services where appropriate.

This programme is for families attending the Children’s Centre for the first time with their new baby, where families can meet other new parents in a relaxed and friendly environment.
