An opportunity for babies and children to pop in with their parents and carers to use the resources in the early years room in the centre. All we ask is that families clean and tidy the resources after use and the space is a safe and happy environment for all to enjoy.

Parent and Carer Forums - 8 December only, Debutots Special

Parent and carers work together with partners and commissioned services to co-design and evaluate current services.

First Bites and Baby Life 3 to 6 months - 17 November only

This session shares top tips from introducing solids, oral health, accident prevention and age-appropriate development. It’s a great opportunity to meet new families and find out what local services are available for your family.

Baby Massage - starting 4 November

This five week course offers a chance for you and your baby to spend precious time bonding through massage whilst meeting other parents with babies to form friendships.

Time to Play

Early Support and Learning Provision, providing opportunities for children with disabilities or complex medical needs to learn and explore through play independently, whilst providing a short break for their parent and carer.

Little Explorer Plus - Invite Only

A drop-in stay and play session for families of children with disabilities or complex medical needs, that will provide play and learning opportunities that meets the needs of all children. Breast start from pregnancy and breastfeeding

Come and join us in a relaxed, friendly environment, chat and meet other breastfeeding mums and get some support and advice. A member of the health visiting team supports the group.

Learning Together Babies under 1s - starting 6 November

The session features a ‘Talk Time’ to show how the little things parents do make a big difference to their babies’ learning, together with a range of activities such as treasure baskets, messy play, singing songs and sharing books.

A sensory and messy play session providing lots of fun-filled opportunities for Children to explore using their senses, giving them opportunity to learn and develop.

Borrow bags

Drop into any children’s centre to access the range of borrow bags.  These include sensory bags, stories bags, treasure baskets and much more.


Free online sessions for parents and carer

Connect with other parents and carers via Zoom and learn about topics relevant to families and children aged 0 to 5. Share ideas in how to support children’s early education and each other. Visit the Family Corner website.

Solihull approach - free online courses for parents, grandparents, teens and carers

The courses provide support through all stages of bringing up children, from pregnancy and birth to caring for toddlers up to teenagers. They include specific courses for teenagers, and for parents and carers of children with additional needs. Parents’ courses can be accessed via the Solihull approach website.
