RE: Relating to illegal parking outside the Co-op Foodstore in the High Street, Horncastle.

1. High Street. I believe it looks like you're looking at putting double yellows on that road apart from just outside the COOP. Have I read this right?

2. Is so is there a reason why we haven't put double yellows all along.

3. Also how often is this policed with a traffics warden

1. Yes, double yellow lines have been installed to replace a single yellow line on the north side, as shown in red on the attached plan.

2. The existing single yellow lines. Several businesses in the area operate during the evenings so some part time restrictions have been retained so that after 6pm, customers can park to visit these businesses.

As traffic flows are reduced during the evening a lesser restriction in this area is acceptable.

3. We answered under a previous FOI 13359132 but typically this is when we have last patrolled.
