I can confirm that the information requested is held by Lincolnshire County Council. I have detailed below the information that is being released to you.

  • Lincolnshire County Council (LCC) as Lead Local Flood Authority (LLFA) have not undertaken any modelling within the site area provided. Please refer to the flood risk asset register on the LCC website to ascertain any assets which may be relevant to the site: Find flood risk assets – Lincolnshire County Council.
  • Regarding previous flood events, LCC as LLFA has not undertaken any formal investigations under Section 19 of the Flood and Water Management Act 2010 in the immediate proximity of the site, although note that approximately 1km northwest is aware of flooding from designated main river systems. Please refer to the following for a summary of completed S19 flood investigations undertaken by Lincolnshire County Council (LCC) as Lead local Flood Authority (LLFA), with further context and information on their requirement: Flood investigations – Lincolnshire County Council. It is advised that further information on fluvial flooding may be able to be provided by the Environment Agency. It is also worth noting that it cannot be definitively confirmed whether the exact location in question has never been affected by flooding as not every instance is reported to the Council.
  • With regard to potential connections into IDB maintained systems or ordinary watercourses, advice may be sought from Welland & Deepings Internal Drainage Board who act as agent to LCC for consenting and enforcement on ordinary watercourses.
  • Furthermore, for any pre-application advice it is advised that contact is made with the LCC Development Management department at DevelopmentManagement@lincolnshire.gov.uk. Please refer to the Council’s Development Roads and Sustainable Drainage Design Approach alongside the Sustainable Drainage Design and Evaluation Guide which can be found at the following link: Planning to build roads and footpaths – Designing Layout - Lincolnshire County Council.
