Taxi Usage and Circumstances

1) I would like to know why so many Taxis are in use taking children to school please in Spalding?



2) What is the qualification to have a taxi please? I am sure there is many differing circumstances as to why taxis are used



3) along with numbers of children who have the issue



4) What is the prcoess of vetting for these taxis to be provided?



5) please provide costs that these taxis have incurred over the past 3 years please just for Spalding area.

1) Children are eligible for Home to School Transport via the School and College Transport Policy - Apply for school transport for children in reception to year 11 – Before you apply - Lincolnshire County Council. Transport is provided in accordance with this policy. 

2) Taxis are provided based on the needs and requirements of the children as per the School and College Transport Policy. 

3) This information is not held; transport qualification however can be found within our policy - School and college transport policy – Lincolnshire County Council 

4) Taxis are licenced through their respective District Council and drivers on LCC contracts are subject to an enhanced DBS check. 

5)  Costs are not broken down into geographical areas.
