Property Flood Resilience (PFR)
If your home has been affected by flooding, you may be eligible for support through a Property Flood Resilience (PFR) grant. These grants help households install measures that reduce future flood damage.
What is PFR?
Property Flood Resilience (PFR) includes practical changes to your home to help reduce the impact of future flooding. This can include flood doors, air brick covers, sump pumps and non-return valves.
Things to consider before installing PFR
If you’re planning works near a watercourse, you may need permission before starting.
- Ordinary watercourses – Contact Lincolnshire County Council.
- Main rivers – Apply through the Environment Agency.
Check if you need permission for works on rivers or flood defences (gov.uk).
