Children's specialist continence service

The Specialist Children’s Continence Service is under review by the Integrated Care Board (who commission the service).

Due to this the service will only be offering the following:

  • Continence assessments where the child may be eligible for NHS continence products
  • Support, advice, review and guidance for children already in receipt of NHS continence products, where there is an issue with the product or the child’s health condition has changed

These measures are in place until 30 June 2026.
