Join us for the perfect evening, combining socialising, late night shopping, live music and comedy on Saturday 11 June 2022.
Doors for the first Night Market at The Collection Museum open at 5pm. The event includes a quiz at 6.30pm and concludes with a live comedy show from 8pm.
Tickets are available for both the quiz and comedy show on The Collection Museum’s website.
The event is part of the museum’s Summer Artisan Market, and from 5pm to 8pm, visitors can browse over 40 artisan stalls with a wide range of produce from art, photography, ceramics, textiles, candles and jewellery.
They’ll also find food and drink pop ups from Chapel House Pizza Co, Junk Soul Smothered vegan burgers and a gin bar from Fenspirits Distillery. The Muse Bar will also be open serving snacks and refreshments throughout the evening.
Free musical entertainment will be provided throughout the evening in our Muse Bar from: Gaz Clitheroe, Dan Came, Georgie Hanson, Jodie Smith and Ste Walke.
All the acts are local Lincoln musicians, and many have starred on the BBC Introducing programme on Radio Lincolnshire, as well as perform at local events within the city.
Get your friends together and test your general knowledge with our Night Market Quiz at 6.30pm. Be prepared to be puzzled by the fun picture round and make sure you swat up on your art too, as there is, of course, an art round.
The winning team will win tickets to our Comedy Night, worth £40. Book in for the quiz on our website for just £5 per team (max. teams of 4).
The Night Market concludes with our first Late Night Comedy event, with five brilliant acts for only £10.
The line-up has been confirmed with headliner Anthony King, and support from Lincoln's very own William Collishaw, Kirsty Munro and star from the Fringe Masai. Overseeing proceedings will be compere and local comedian Paul Mutagejja.
Visitor experience officer, Ann Worrell, who put together the market, said:
"With the longer summer nights our first Night Market will be the perfect Saturday night social on 11 June. The Night Market will allow visitors to enjoy a spot of late-night shopping, socialise with friends and family and enjoy live music from local acts."
