1.Keeping warm and well

Throughout winter, to help keep you and your family warm and well, you should:
- Keep your home warm: Heat your home to at least 18°C (65°F). Focus on heating the living room during the day and the bedroom before sleep.
- Dress warmly: Wear several layers of light clothing. Don't forget a hat, gloves, and scarf when going outside.
- Eat well: Have regular hot meals and drinks to maintain energy levels. Stock up on basic supplies for bad weather.
- Stay active: Move around to keep warm. Avoid sitting still for long periods.
- Check on others: Look out for vulnerable friends, family, and neighbours. A quick visit or call can help.
- Seek help if needed: Reach out for support if you're struggling to keep warm. Lincolnshire County Council offers various services.
