Lincolnshire County Council is preparing to move to a new online system for managing contract opportunities.
The planned change, planned to take place on Friday 21 November, will see the council begin using Panacea as its new procurement platform. This will replace the current East Midlands Tender Portal, which has been used for many years to advertise and manage supplier opportunities.
The introduction of Panacea aims to make the process of tendering for council contracts more efficient and user-friendly, with clearer visibility of available opportunities and improved functionality for both suppliers and the council’s procurement teams.
Suppliers should be able to access the new system from 21 November.
Any businesses currently registered on the East Midlands Tender Portal will need to register on Panacea to continue receiving updates and to submit tenders in future.
Guidance and support on registration will be provided once the new system goes live.
Organisations interested in providing goods or services to the council are encouraged to familiarise themselves with the upcoming changes and to register on the new system once available on 21 November.
