The Holiday Activities and Food programme (HAF) is a Government funded programme to provide school aged children on benefits related free school meals in England with access to free healthy meals and activities over the summer and Christmas holidays.
We are looking to expand the range of providers offering this opportunity to children and young people.
We are inviting expressions of interest (EOI) from providers who are experienced in offering holiday activities or enrichment programmes for school age children.
The grant will enable the programme to be accessed by as many eligible Lincolnshire children as possible.
Holiday activities funded via the HAF grant are free at the point of delivery for eligible children and young people and enable them to access a healthy meal, be active, be safe and take part in engaging and enriching activities.
It is essential that all providers that express an interest are able to demonstrate they meet the criteria set out in the DfE guidance document.
Further information can be found in:
The closing date for expression of interest submissions is 12pm, 4 October 2021.
We recommend applicants attend our three online workshops to support completing the EOI process. The focus of these will be quality delivery, safeguarding and food provision. If you have not been able to book on to the three workshops and would like to see the slides and transcript before your Expression of Interest submission contact [email protected] and we will forward the information to you.
If you are interested in participating and have any questions about delivery of this programme or would like information before completing the EOI please contact [email protected].
