Plan your visit

The visitor centre is open Monday to Friday excluding bank holidays.

The visitor centre is fully accessible but the hangar is accessible for manual wheelchairs only. Oxygen cylinders are not permitted.

Hangar tours begin at 10.30am. The last tour is at 3.30pm from March to October and at 3pm from November to February.

We cannot guarantee public access to the hangar or the presence of specific aircraft.

Our toilet facilities include disabled toilets and baby changing facilities.

Only registered assistance dogs are allowed on site.

Children under 13 should be accompanied by an adult whilst in the Visitor Centre.

Whilst there are no specific activities for children, they are welcome to join the tour. They must be accompanied by an adult on tours when under the age of 14.

Free parking is available at the BBMF Visitor Centre including accessible parking for disabled guests. You will need to cross the main road from the car park to the Visitor Centre. The car park is open 10am until 5pm. 

Admission charges

Charges for the tours are:

  • adults: £12
  • concessions: £11 - includes people who:
    • are unemployed
    • receive income support
    • are in full-time education
    • have impairments that impact on their day-to-day living, as defined by the Equality Act 2010
  • children (5 to 16 years): £7
  • under 5's: free
  • carers: free (when accompanied by a full price ticket holder)
  • BBMF club members: free
  • Lincolnshire Lancaster Association Members: free
  • 10% discount for serving armed forces or veterans

Family tickets:

  • 1 adult 2 children - £22
  • 1 adult 3 children - £28
  • 2 adults 1 child - £26
  • 2 adults 2 children - £32
  • 2 adults 3 children - £38

Café and shop

There is a range of giftware available in our shop. This includes framed pictures, prints, books, glassware, model aircraft, clothing and more. We do not currently have an online shop.

The Battle of Britain Memorial Flight Visitor Centre Tea Bar is open April to October 10am to 4pm and November to March 10am to 3pm, selling teas, coffees and cakes.

There is no specific picnic area but you are welcome to use the seating area outside in the front of the Visitor Centre.
