Booking a slot
You will require a free booking to dispose of waste at our HWRCs from Monday December 7. You will be able to make bookings from Monday November 30.
You will be able to book your visit up to two weeks in advance, and same day bookings will be available.
You can book slots for:
- cars
- vans
- vehicles with a trailer
If you can't book online, you can make a booking by telephone through our Customer Service Centre. A family member, friend or carer can also making a booking on your behalf as long as the waste you are bringing is from a household in Lincolnshire.
You no longer need a permit to visit a HWRC with a van, 4x4 or large trailer. Commercial vehicles and business waste are not accepted. Find out more about disposing of commercial or trade waste here.
You will need to provide some personal information when booking your slot, including your:
- first and last names
- email address or telephone number
- address
- vehicle registration
Your information will only be used to:
- manage your booking
- confirm eligibility to use the service
- monitor site usage
- help improve the service
Your personal information will be processed in accordance with UK data protection legislation.
Once you've made your booking you'll receive a confirmation email or text with your appointment details. Your confirmation will provide details on how to amend or cancel your booking.
Eligibility
If you pay council tax in Lincolnshire, you can book to visit any site. You will need to provide your address details when making your booking.
If you own a second home in Lincolnshire, you can make a booking as long as you pay council tax for the property.
If you are moving to Lincolnshire, you will be able to make a booking once you have moved into the property.
Visiting a recycling centre
When arriving for your visit, please use the vehicle you booked and have your booking confirmation ready.
If you arrive without a booking, site staff will check whether any slots are available. If there is availability, you may be able to make a same-day booking and enter the HWRC. If there is no availability, you will be asked to make another booking before returning.
Please try to arrive within your allocated time slot. If you're delayed, site staff will do their best to accomodate you.
If you miss your slot, you may be asked to make another booking depending on availability.
We can only accomodate arrivals in vehicles. Please do not arrive on foot or bicycle.
Your waste
If possible, seperate your waste before arriving at your HWRC. This will make unloading quicker and reduce wait times. A full list of accepted materials is available on our website. You'll be given enough time to unload safely.
Please do not bring commercial or trade waste. Large amounts of household waste may be acceped provided they comply with site rules.

You will be responsible for unloading your own waste, however, please speak to a member of site staff if you need assistance.
Reuse shops
You will not need a booking to visit a Reuse Shop. You will only need a booking if you're planning on disposing of waste and then visiting a Reuse Shop.
If you visit a Reuse Shop and decide you would like to dispose of waste, you will need to check if a same-day slot is available and if so, book it.
