Independent Travel Training (ITT) gives young people the confidence to travel on foot or by public transport.
Anyone who is given free home-to-school transport or post-16 home-to-school or college transport can apply.
With the consent of a parent or carer, a trainer will take your child on their journey to school or college to advise on:
- safety issues
- finding their way
- road safety
- planning a journey
- using a bus pass and paying a fare
- using buses and trains
- solving problems
